It depends on when you booked, and that is the trap. The simply MORE package, which added a shore excursion credit and an alcoholic beverage package, stopped on 30 September 2024. The current fare includes shipboard gratuities for everyone everywhere but leaves excursions and alcohol to you. Two files on the same ship may therefore carry different things.
They are not any more. The excursion credit belonged to the simply MORE package, which stopped on 30 September 2024. Since then every shore outing is booked and settled separately, or bought as a package before departure. On an itinerary with many calls, that changes the arithmetic.
Yes, for everyone, and that is new. Since 30 September 2024, shipboard gratuities for stateroom attendants, butlers and dining staff are included wherever you come from. Before, they depended on your region or your loyalty programme. Nothing is posted to your onboard account on that account.
No. The alcoholic beverage package was part of simply MORE and was not carried over after 30 September 2024. What remains included at no supplement: soft drinks, speciality coffees, teas, still and sparkling water, juices and smoothies. Wine, beer and spirits are paid separately.
Yes, without exception and with no cover charge. It is the argument this line has always led with, and the one you can verify fastest once aboard. The recent hulls carry more of them than the 1998 ships, simply because they are twice the size.
Yes, Starlink and without limit. There is no quota of minutes, no device count to watch, no package to buy at departure. Coverage can vary with the ship's position on a long itinerary or in high latitudes, but the service itself is in the fare.
More than in any other fleet we track. The four 1998 hulls are leaving one after another: the Oceania Regatta went on 17 August 2026, the Oceania Nautica stops on 15 October 2027, the Oceania Sirena on 24 March 2028. Only the Oceania Insignia has no date. Against them come the Oceania Sonata in 2027 and the Oceania Arietta in 2029, twice the size.
No, it is the same hull. The Oceania Aurelia is the Oceania Nautica after refit and renaming. The present ship stops sailing on 15 October 2027 and returns late the same year under her new identity. Our two pages carried the same departure dates when we measured, which suggested otherwise.
The figure is published nowhere, and we will not invent it. No technical sheet from this line gives the number of wheelchair-accessible staterooms. We check it file by file before confirming. Note too that the 1998 hulls have nine accessible decks, fewer than the recent ships.
Things worth knowing before you pay. The carrier is Oceania Cruises S. de R.L., established in Miami, and the ships fly the Marshall Islands flag. A personal injury claim is pleaded in Florida; everything else goes to binding arbitration in Miami, with a class-action waiver. Only small claims in Miami-Dade escape it.
Far less time than people assume. For anything other than personal injury, written notice must go out within thirty days of the cruise ending, and the action within six months. Damaged luggage, a dropped call, a service not delivered: the clock starts at disembarkation. For personal injury, six months' notice and one year to sue.
No. The Oceania Sonata was floated out on 27 August 2026 at the Fincantieri yard in Marghera, near Venice, and delivery is announced for 2027. No departure dates were on sale when we measured: the schedule has not opened.
No, and the distinction matters. At float-out the hull floats and is towed to the fitting-out quay; the interior work begins then. Between that moment and the first cruise, more than a year usually remains.
About eighty-six thousand gross tons and one thousand three hundred and ninety guests, a third more than the Oceania Allura, from which this ship derives directly. Length, deck count and crew complement have not been published.
Five. After this one the Oceania Arietta is expected in 2029, with three further units ordered for 2032, 2035 and 2037. This line is therefore replacing a fleet of small hulls with a fleet of large ones, over more than ten years.
