Four Seasons Resort Orlando à Walt Disney World Resort

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando stands inside Golden Oak, the upscale residential community built on Walt Disney World Resort property in Florida. Sixteen storeys, 443 rooms including 68 suites, and from the seventeenth-floor terrace the fireworks of Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT in the same field of view. It is the only five-star address on property, and the only one tied to neither Disney nor Marriott.

On Disney land, without being a Disney hotel

Four Seasons operates the hotel under its own name. Disney files it among “Other Select Hotels,” the category of addresses that receive part of the Disney Resorts Collection benefits without belonging to it. The distinction matters more here than in the EPCOT area, because the list of benefits is shorter: we come back to it below, and that is the most useful section on this page.

The setting compares to nothing else nearby. Golden Oak is a private residential community, quiet and wooded, away from the main roads. What you hear in the evening is the fireworks rather than the buses.

Explorer Island, five acres of water for the children

The hotel’s private water park covers five acres, about two hectares, and it is heated. A family pool of some 700 square metres, a lazy river with waterfalls and a rapids section, two water slides, an interactive splash zone with water cannons, a climbing wall, a basketball court and a games centre. In the evening, films are screened by the water.

The Kids For All Seasons club takes 4- to 12-year-olds free of charge, every day. Teenagers have their own space, The Hideout, with virtual reality and an arcade. On Saturday evenings, the Explorer Island Takeover looks after children from five to nine, which frees an evening for the parents.

Adults have the Oasis, an infinity pool by the lake reserved for guests 21 and over. The spa counts eighteen treatment rooms and four couples’ suites, with a solarium, steam rooms and whirlpools. The fitness centre is open around the clock. The Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club Orlando runs an eighteen-hole championship course.

Capa, and a point many sites have missed

Capa occupies the seventeenth floor and serves Spanish and Basque-influenced steakhouse cooking, facing the fireworks. The restaurant held a Michelin star four years running, from 2022 to 2025.

The 2026 Michelin Guide Florida, released on 28 May 2026, moved it to the Recommended list. Six Orlando-area restaurants kept their star that year, and Capa is no longer among them. The hotel’s own site still presents it as Michelin-starred, because that text predates the announcement. We would rather tell you correctly: the table remains excellent and recognised, without a star in 2026.

The other rooms: Ravello for Italian, which hosts the Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals on Thursday and Saturday mornings, its family format Ravello’s Pasta & Play, the hidden library-themed bar Epilogue, The Lakehouse and its coastal cooking relaunched in spring 2026, and Plancha at the golf club.

The Disney benefits you do get here

Early entry first: thirty minutes before official opening, at all four theme parks, every day of the stay, arrival and departure days included. Disney’s official page names the Four Seasons Resort Orlando among eligible hotels, and Disney confirms the benefit through 2027.

Then the shuttle, a complimentary luxury motor coach to the four theme parks. It is the only link to the parks, which makes its schedule decisive on early-entry mornings: allow yourself margin.

A Disney Planning Center occupies a corner of the lobby, staffed by Disney Cast Members. The hotel sells park tickets, arranges private character experiences on request, and books golf tee times in advance.

The Disney benefits you do not get here

Extended evening hours are missing. Disney’s official page devoted to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours names the Swan, the Dolphin, the Swan Reserve and Shades of Green among the select hotels, without mentioning the Four Seasons. If those evenings matter to you, that is the argument that tips the choice toward the EPCOT area.

The seven-day advance window for Lightning Lane passes does not apply either, according to the available sources: an official planDisney panel answer places Four Seasons guests at three days, like the general public, and the hotel nowhere claims the seven-day window. Have it confirmed with the hotel before building a day plan around it.

There is no access on foot, by boat, by Disney Skyliner or by monorail, the hotel being set apart inside Golden Oak. No Marriott Bonvoy link either, since Four Seasons operates under its own name.

Who this hotel suits

The Four Seasons speaks to travellers who want Disney by day and quiet by night, to families who will spend half-days at the hotel rather than in queues, and to those who care about the service of a grand house. It speaks less to anyone who wants to chain parks from morning to night: the shuttle and the absence of extended evening hours cost time at that pace.
