Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek sits on a pocket of land that Walt Disney World Resort surrounds on three sides and never managed to buy. You sleep in the middle of Disney property, in a hotel Disney does not own. It opened in 2009 as Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and became, on 12 July 2021, the very first address to carry the Signia by Hilton name. It holds 1,009 rooms and suites across eighteen floors.

Thirty minutes of early entry, and where it stops

This is what separates the hotel from most of its neighbours. Disney names Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek on its official list of hotels eligible for early theme park entry. In practice: thirty minutes before official opening, every day of your stay, at whichever of the four parks you choose. Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park all open their gates early for you. Valid admission and hotel identification are required, and not every attraction runs during that half hour.

The limit deserves saying just as plainly. Extended evening hours, reserved for guests of Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts and for the Swan, the Dolphin, the Swan Reserve and Shades of Green, do not apply here. Signia gives you the morning, not the night.

The rooms

A standard room runs about 33 m², with one king or two queen beds, looking out over the pool, the nature preserve or the upper floors depending on category. The Junior Suite doubles that at roughly 65 m² and adds a queen sleeper sofa. The Signia Suite, at about 98 m², comes in one- and two-bedroom layouts with a wet bar and a table for six.

One thing to know before booking for a family that eats breakfast in the room: Signia rooms have neither a kitchenette nor a microwave. You get a small refrigerator and a Nespresso machine, and that is all.

The water complex

Three acres of water, a little over a hectare, built around a lazy river and a zero-entry lagoon pool. Add a water slide, a children's pool and private cabanas for rent. Lazy river tubes are covered by the daily resort charge.

Signia guests have access to the facilities of the neighbouring Waldorf Astoria Orlando, with which the hotel shares its spa, its golf course, its convention centre and its kids club for ages five to twelve.

Eating on site

La Luce serves Italian cooking built on fresh pasta and thin-crust pizza. Zeta Asia covers pan-Asian dishes and sushi. Harvest Bistro handles the breakfast buffet and a comfortable American menu. MYTH Bar holds the lobby for cocktails and small plates, MUSE works as café and patisserie with vegan and gluten-free options, and Beech feeds the pool deck. Room service runs around the clock. Counting the tables at the Waldorf Astoria next door, which are open to you, roughly a dozen addresses sit within walking distance.

Golf and spa

Waldorf Astoria Golf Club lays out eighteen holes at par 72, designed by Rees Jones and restored by the same architect between 2022 and 2024. Three holes were fully redesigned, playing corridors widened and greens returned to their original dimensions. Practice range access is covered by the resort charge, club rental becomes complimentary after two in the afternoon, and tee times are charged separately.

Waldorf Astoria Spa offers massage, facials, hand and foot treatments, Himalayan salt therapies and Normatec recovery, alongside a full hair and beauty salon.

Getting to the parks

A luxury motorcoach leaves the hotel for the four theme parks of Walt Disney World Resort and for Disney Springs, with no reservation needed and no extra charge, since the service is covered by the resort charge. It runs on regular park operating hours, which means it does not cover special evening events.

Who this hotel suits

It suits travellers who want Disney early entry without staying at a Disney Resort hotel, golfers, and anyone who would rather come back at night to a comfortable convention hotel than to themed scenery. The lazy river and the slide keep children busy on days away from the parks.

It suits you less if you plan to cook a little in the room, if you want extended evening hours, or if you prefer integrated Disney transport such as the monorail or the Disney Skyliner, neither of which serves Bonnet Creek.
