The same hotel, a new name

This address at 1905 Hotel Plaza Boulevard went by B Resort & Spa for years. After a major renovation it now carries the name Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, a Marriott brand. The building, the position and the status have not changed: it is the same hotel, in the same place, with the same Disney benefits. If you were looking for the B Resort, you are in the right place.

Rooms larger than the corridor average, and bunk beds

The hotel has 394 rooms and suites, including twenty-three upper-category suites. Most rooms run over 37 square metres, well above the average for addresses in this sector. The categories split between the tower and the Lanai rooms, which open onto a private patio at the pool's edge.

The point that decides trips: some of the rooms come with bunk beds. In a corridor where almost everything caps at four occupants, that category settles the family of five without booking two rooms. It is limited and it has to be requested explicitly when booking. A presidential suite with a full kitchen exists as well, for a group or a long stay.

On site

A zero-entry pool with its own bar, a hot tub, a sundeck. Four food and beverage outlets: American Kitchen Bar & Grill from morning until late, the AK Bar, the Agave Fresco pool bar for tapas, and The Grove Cafe & Brew serving coffee from six in the morning. A spa, a fitness centre open around the clock, four tennis courts and a games room for children.

What “Disney Good Neighbor” means, and what it does not mean

Good Neighbor is a designation Disney grants to hotels outside its own property. It says the hotel meets a standard of quality and sells Disney tickets at the front desk. On its own it grants no park benefit whatsoever. Dozens of Orlando hotels carry the label and receive nothing beyond it.

The benefits come from separate lists that name each hotel individually. A property is on one or it is not. Most comparison articles blur that distinction, and it is the first thing to check before booking anything in this corridor.

Early entry, and why this hotel qualifies

Disney names the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa on its Early Theme Park Entry list. Guests enter all four parks thirty minutes before the published opening time, every day of the stay, with a valid ticket for the park being visited.

Thirty minutes sounds modest. In practice it is the difference between walking onto two headline attractions and standing ninety minutes for one. The gap is widest at Magic Kingdom Park and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the morning queues build fastest. Bring proof of the reservation: the benefit is verified at the gate.

The shuttle, the parking and the trap to avoid

The shuttle to the four theme parks is complimentary and continuous, and it comes with the hotel's status rather than with a surcharge. Parking, on the other hand, is charged, self-park as well as valet, unless a package includes it: have your advisor spell that out, because this is where the advertised price and the real price part company.

Parking at the hotel is free. Parking at the theme parks is not, and the two get confused constantly. A family that budgets nothing for parking pays for it again every morning of the trip. Your advisor has the current rate.

One more thing, and it is recent: since 28 June 2026 Disney checks room keys on its buses leaving Disney Springs. Parking there to catch the Disney network was a well-travelled shortcut. It closed.

Disney Springs on foot

This is the real reason to choose this corner of the map. Disney Springs costs nothing to enter, holds more than a hundred restaurants, shops and shows, and stays open late. Walking back to the room at eleven at night instead of queueing for a bus changes the shape of an evening, and it changes it every evening of the stay.

It also gives a family a free afternoon when the parks are saturated or the rain settles in, which in central Florida is most summer days around four o’clock.

Who this hotel suits

This hotel suits the family of five thanks to the bunk bed rooms, the traveller who wants space in the room, and anyone planning to walk to Disney Springs in the evening rather than get back in a vehicle. It suits the Marriott Bonvoy member collecting nights. It suits less well anyone driving down who wants parking included: here it is billed separately.

It suits you less if the point of the trip is to live inside the Disney bubble from the moment you land. There is no charging to the room in the parks, no Disney transport at the door and no Disney dining plan.
