TAMARIJN ARUBA ALL INCLUSIVE

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive lines up 236 rooms, every one of them oceanfront, in two-storey buildings set along Druif Beach. Its distinguishing feature is its neighbour: Tamarijn guests have full access to everything at the adjoining Divi Aruba All Inclusive, meaning around a dozen restaurants and grills, eight bars and five pools spread across nearly two and a half kilometres of shared sand. A free shuttle connects the two, and the walk along the beach takes ten minutes.

Tamarijn Aruba at a glance

Two hundred and thirty-six rooms, not one of which faces away from the sea. That is the promise of the place and it holds: the two-storey buildings stretch along the beach rather than stacking into a tower, so every room opens onto the water a few paces from the sand. Few addresses in this category can say the same.

The rest comes down to geography. Tamarijn adjoins Divi Aruba All Inclusive, and the two operate as a single resort for their guests. You sleep in a 236-room hotel with the atmosphere that implies, while having the facilities of two properties combined.

The all-inclusive and the Divi privileges

The plan is full and mandatory: all meals and snacks, unlimited drinks including beer, cocktails, frozen drinks, spirits, wine and champagne by the glass, taxes and service, and wifi. It applies at both properties without distinction.

In practice that opens up around a dozen restaurants and grills and eight bars. Tamarijn guests additionally get exclusive use of two pools at the neighbouring Divi Dutch Village. A free shuttle runs between the properties, and the walk along the beach takes about ten minutes. For a traveller who fears growing tired of one all-inclusive over seven or ten days, this arrangement solves much of the problem.

Druif Beach: neither Palm nor Eagle

Tamarijn is on neither Palm Beach nor Eagle Beach. It occupies Druif Beach, a distinct stretch of coast further south, five minutes from Oranjestad and ten from the airport. The sand is just as white and the water just as calm, but the crowds are markedly thinner.

The position has its advantages: you can walk to shops and restaurants, the Alhambra casino sits across the boulevard, and Oranjestad is minutes away. Which room to choose

Two main categories share the inventory: Deluxe Oceanfront at around 35 square metres, and Premium Oceanfront at around 41. Both look at the sea; the second simply gives more space.

For 2026 the resort refreshed its two-bedroom oceanfront suites, its junior suites and its Beachside rooms, the last of these fitted with Bluetooth mirrors, mood lighting and a patio a few steps from the sand. The renovated categories go early in high season.

Where you eat

At Tamarijn, Club Margot works Mediterranean and Caribbean cooking at dinner, Ginger does Asian fusion, Paparazzi handles Italian, and the Cunucu Terrace covers breakfast and lunch with live cooking stations. Pizza Per Tutti runs the bar and grill, and Barista, recently opened, starts pouring coffee at six in the morning.

Next door, Red Parrot does international at dinner, Pure Lime Mexican, the Pelican Terrace covers the day with live cooking, and Coco Grill and Bar, Le Café and the Sandpiper Bar fill out the offering. None of these charges a supplement to Tamarijn guests.

Travelling with children

The Sea Turtles club takes four- to twelve-year-olds with a supervised programme. Around it the offering is generous: a rock-climbing wall of around ten metres planted on the beach, lit tennis courts, pickleball at Divi Village, e-mountain bikes and all the non-motorised water sports, all included.

Since every room faces the sea and the buildings rise only two storeys, the beach stays in view from the patio. For parents of young children, that arrangement beats an eighteenth-floor room with a sweeping view.

The pools, the spa and the casino

Five freshwater pools spread across Tamarijn and Divi Aruba, not counting the two basins at Divi Dutch Village reserved for Tamarijn guests. Palapa-style cabanas were added to the Divi pool deck, and the pool areas gained shade, better seating and towel stations tied to room-key wristbands.

The Indulgence by the Sea spa and the Alhambra casino operate as paid extras: they are not part of the all-inclusive plan. The Links at Divi Aruba golf course is likewise an extra. The resort holds Green Globe environmental certification.

Who this resort suits

It fits families and couples who want a real all-inclusive without tiring of it after three days, thanks to the twenty-odd outlets on offer. It fits anyone who insists on an oceanfront room with no exceptions and no surprises. It fits travellers who like walking into Oranjestad and prefer a less crowded beach.

What to know before you book

Allow about ten minutes by road between Queen Beatrix International Airport and the resort, and five minutes to Oranjestad, which makes it one of the best-placed addresses on the island in that respect. Aruba lies outside the hurricane belt and the trade winds blow year-round, holding the humidity down and masking how strong the sun is.
